Virus alert in PDF Creator

When I ran PDF Creator, it kept telling me there was a new version to
install, so I selected "yes" and downloaded and installed the new
version. Now there is a virus on my computer. It keeps trying to install
something. A box pops up saying "Windows Version Installer" has a dodgy
end user license agreement. I can't make it go away. I have uninstalled
PDF Creator and will not use it again.
