PFD Creator and Wingdings font

Hi all,
I'm trying to print a word document (.doc) from Word 2013 that contains checkboxes created with Wingdings font; now I must create modules with Acrobat XI, but checkboxes aren't converted. It seems that during conversion with PDF Creator something is lost...

I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and PDF Creator 1.7.3 (it's installed on a server with Windows Serve 2008 R2)

Anyone have this problem?
