Firstly, I am running Windows 7 64 bit and I had PDF Creator version 1.7.3 and all was working fine. I do not use PDF Creator directly but for my work I have been creating PDF/A files from Excel files. Every time I open a file in Excel I would click print, choose the PDF Creator as the printer and that would open another window allowing me choose PDF/A instead of just a PDF as the output type and I could choose where I want it to go.
Then I opened Excel and it told me there was a new version of PDF creator and I very regrettably clicked YES when it asked if I want to download it. Now I open one of my Excel files, click print, choose PDF Creator as the printer and hit okay. However, instead of bringing up any other windows it simply puts up a tiny window that says, "Printing". The window is there for about half a second and then it disappears without even giving me a clue as to where the hell it printed the file to or what it called it. I have searched my computer and can find nothing. I have searched PDF Creators help files to find that they are no help whatsoever. What the hell is going on?
This is now costing me money as I can no longer do my work!!! Can anyone help or should I just start looking for legal help as PDFForge has basically just put me out of business.
