I am suddenly having issues where I cant combine Office files with PDF Architect (1.1.83.9982) anymore. It used to work fine for about 3 days or so. I am using Windows 7 64bit SP1 and Microsoft Office Standard 2010 (14.0.6029.1000)
After selecting the office files to combine and hitting the button to start combining it just sits at 0%. Sometimes if I open Task Manager I can see a hidden 'file open' window which is the Office app asking to open the file as read only. If I click OK it will then progress and complete OK but then other times this file open window cant be found and it just sits there doing nothing. I have to close PDF Architect with Task Manager to get it working again as it just stops responding to all input.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour before or know how to fix it? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PDF Architect but it didn't help.
