Some days ago my 1.7.3 began to go crazy and the queue would not empty.
As I cancelled a job i would appear again. As I could not solve the
problem I uninstalled the program and installed it again but now, when I
try to print nothing happens and nothing appears in the queue. I tried
reinstalling several times and even installing 1.7.2 again.

Can
you help me? Should I uninstall and delete form register? I don't like
that very much as I'm always afraid to touch something I should not
touch...

BTW, my computer is running windows 7.

After using pdfcreator for years and years, this has really stumped me. I updated to the latest 1.7.3 version and now when I print to PDF Creator, absolutely nothing happens. The printer dialog window that normally opens, does not. If I open the pdf creator window manually and leave it open, and then print to PDF Creator, nothing appears in the documents list. Setting PDF Creator to be the default printer has no effect either.  

I've uninstalled, cleaned the registry entries with ccleaner, rebooted, run ccleaner again just to make sure, and re-installed PDF Creator but to no avail. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit if that matters. 

I surely do not want to re-install windows just to get this working. I'm hoping theres an easier and more elegant answer!

There is a problem. After installing the software in chinese and with chinese language pack, it appears that application itself is working in that language, however there is no possibility to save the file with chinese ltetters- only works with en name. Could You please advise?- it is quite urgent for our users.

For a strange reason, today my copy of Pro is not active anymore and i
can't activate it. I get a message that say to check connection, licence
and so on but everything is ok.

Please help asap i need the software to work.

Habe gerade auf den gebührenpflichtigen PDF-Creator plus umgestellt.
Nach dem Druckbefehl (drucken mit pdf-creator) wird das Dokument nicht mehr geöffnet, wie im alten einfachen PDF-Creator.
Was kann ich tun?

Hi,

One of our users is experiencing an issue when trying to print using PDFCreator 1.2.3 - 

ErrorNR: 75 (Path/File access error)

All of the answers I can find regarding this say to give the user write permissions on the PDFCreator folder (%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp\PDFCreator).

However, this folder doesn't actually get created so I can't change the permissions on it.

Any ideas?

I receive this error when printing batches to pdf.  I have multiple print outs queued up and each one prompts the save screen and then continues to the next.  Somewhere in the middle of the process we get this error. 

PDFCreator 1.7.3:

Error-Nr 5 (Invalid Procedure Call or Argument)

Modul: modInfoSpoolFile

Procedure: RemoveInfoSpoolFileObject

Line: 50010

Any thoughts on what is causing this?

PDF-printer prints pages in reverse order, with the last to the first, although the print settings Set the normal order. When I change the settings in the print order to the other, from the last to the first page is printed from the first to the last. 

Version 1.9.5 is possible to copy to the clipboard information, note, despite the fact that my security settings is prohibited.

I cannot import files with a *.tiff extension, it only works if it is *.tif (single F)
Could you update your program ?

Running "pkpgcounter out.pdf" to get the number of pages of a PDF returns always 0 pages. Maybe there is an issue in the PDF you generated since ghostscript also complains when opening it (it says it doesn't conform the PDF specs)

Hi. Can anyone enlighten me? Is it possible with pdf Architext to export the file to pdf including the fonts in the new file? And if yes, how? Best regards, Jens

When opening with ghostscript a PDF created with Images2PDF I get the error below :

Command to create the PDF:

I received an email with an attached pdf that had text and line markups
from Acrobat.  In adobe reader everything shows up.  In pdf architect
only the lines show up.  All text markups do not show up.Any thoughts? 
My company is searching for an alternate to acrobat and this is a big
issue.…

Hi,

 PDFCreator 1.7.1 prints (from Office 2010, Google Chrome, etc.) are blank and its not auto filling the document name. 

   I upgrade to newest version 1.7.3, but an error 339 has come (Fehler: 339 (Die Komponente 'mscomct2.ocx' oder eine ihrer Abhängigkeiten ist nicht richtig registriert: Eine Datei fehlt oder ist ungültig.).

   I've tried "regsvr32 "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\mscomct2.ocx"" without success.

 We have about 20 PCs, but only 5-6 PCs are met (Windows 7 Pro and Office 2010 Pro).

Any suggestion?

I have successfully installed PDF Creator/Architect to a Windows 2008 R2 64 bit server. I would like to add the 32 bit x86 drivers. I can't find any .inf file. How do I add the 32 x86 drivers to a Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit server?

Hallo

Wir haben heute von einem Kunden eine PDF-Datei erhalten, welche auf einem MAC erstellt wurde.



MAC-PDF-Eigenschaften:

Mac OS X 10.6.8 Quartz PDFContext

PDF-Version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x)

Dateigrösse 1.91 MB

Format 1260 X 594 mm



Im PDF Architect 1 wird das Format korrekt dargestellt. Im PDF Architect 2 ist jedoch das Problem, dass das Format falsch dargestellt wird - es scheint, als wird die Umrechnung von Zoll / mm falsch ausgeführt.



Dieselbe Datei im Adobe Standard 8 und im Adobe Reader XI geöffnet und unter anderem Namen gespeichert, kann problemlos im PDF Architect 2 geöffnet resp. dargestellt werden, zudem wird unter den Eigenschaften der Datei, genau wie beim Original die korrekte Formatierung (Papiergrösse in mm) angezeigt.

Ich bitte Euch, dies einmal anzuschauen. Ich habe das Original-PDF (MAC) zu Eurer Verfügung, falls dies behilflich ist. Der Fall ist dringend! Unser Kunde hat 150 Lizenzen des PDF Architect 2 im Einsatz und macht massiv Druck.

Hallo,
wir haben zZ Probleme mit Schriftarten gehabt. Es sollten Dokumente mit der Schriftart Arial erstellt werden, allerdings hat der pdfCreator immer Helvetica anstatt Arial in den pdf's verwendet.
Nach langem Suchen habe ich das Problem gefunden.
Unter den Druckereigenschaften des pdf-Creators im Reiter "Gräteeinstellungen" gibt es den Menüpunkt "Ersetzungstabelle für Schriftarten", dort ist per Default eingestellt das eben Arial durch Helvetica ersetzt werden soll.
Wenn ich dort die Option "Nicht ersetzen" auswähle, funktioniert der pdfCreator wie wir es erwarten.
Weiß jemand warum diese Option per Default so gesetzt ist? Ich möchte ungern damit ein anderes, evtl. bekanntes, Problem provozieren.

Bonjour,

Merci pour ce bel outil de création de PDF que j'utilise régulièrement lorsque je crée des PDFs sous Windows.

Est-il possible d'ajouter en filigrane/watermark sur toutes les pages le n° de la page /total des pages et la date d'impression et éventuellement l'auteur ?
