Upgrade PDFCreator 1.6.2 to version 1.7.3

I install PDFCreator v 1.6.2 on my company print server running Windows Server 2008 R2 some years ago.

I create service and everything needed includning some printer profiles for different user locations and autosafe. I deploy this different PDFCreator printers with Group policy prefferences targeting to specific groups.

I want to know, because if I try to install new version on my print server it says that I must uninstall older version, if when I uninstall older version all my customizations (service, profiles..) will be lost and I have to start over, or this just stays in registry?
