work on more than one computers

I tried
to install pdf architect on my laptop, but it did not work because it is
installed already on my pc. Is it possible to have it activated on one
machine and deactivated on the other?

I am not going to buy a second licence because I will normally use the programme on my pc.
My mail client - eM client - has this option.
