Disappearing auto-save print jobs

I'm seeing some odd behavior that I can't quite pin down.  We have PDF Creator installed on a number of systems, utilizing a variety of auto-save profiles to 'print' various documents to a set of folders.  Occasionally, the print jobs don't appear to create a file in the destination folder.

I'm not sure what to look for to troubleshoot the issue.  We're running version 1.7.3.
