On a Windows 8.1 machine, PDFCreator 1.9.2.395 when I click print from Word, no document is actually printed until I open PDFCreator, then the document is auto created and displayed. Shouldn't a dialog box pop up and print immediately, and if I didn't have auto create set, prompt me for a name to save the pdf?

Some JPGs I try to convert to PDF raises an error. The images looks fine in any image editor, but PDFCreator fails to convert it.

Hi,
im using PDFCreater 1.7.3 and experience difficulties with pdfcreators printer default pages size. The default pages size for PDFcreator printer is set to A4.
When I print to the pdfcreator printer using Windows 7 Fax and Scan application the
Page size is always Letter where I expecting A4.
This behaviour does not exist with the previous version of PDFCreator.
Appreciate any help on how to trouble shoot.

PDFCreator Server installation; prompt local user to save PDF files on client machine?
PDFCreator 1.7.3 Server installation on Server 2012, and our PDFCreator printer is shared out to client machines. Whenever we try to print to it from a client machine, a save prompt appears on the server console.
Is there any way to give a client user the option to download the PDF document to the client machine rather than saving on the server or a network directory? The best solution would be to have the save prompt appear on the client machine rather than the server given the document is being sent to a network printer.

Cannot proceed with installation - due to resolution of screen maybe??
Hello everybody, i'm trying to install pdf creator (latest version) on windows 8.1 64 bit [screen resolution 1920X1080 (if it helps)] but while installing, once I get the screen asking if i want to install tollbar etc, installation freezes because i have no option to deselect options and click on button to go further with installation..
Does anybody have any idea of the issue?

Installing PDF Architect 2 Free on Citrix XenApp 6.5 servers
I have a few questions regarding PDF Architect 2 Free version:
1. Is it possible/legal to install PDF Architect 2 Free (with free Create module)
on Citrix XenApp 6.5 servers? Any limitations? We have 3 servers and approx 100
users.
2. If so, are there any known issues?

FONT: CNAFKO+ArialUnicodeMS
Hello. I have a PDF created by someone else with Chinese characters. I use both Acrobat and PDF Architect (they both seem to be good at different things). In Acrobat, the font is ArialUnicodeMS. In PDF Architect, the font is "CNAFKO+ArialUnicodeMS". I cannot copy the chinese characters within the document to PDF or to Word. The PDF Architect error message is "There is no available glyph(s) for this symbol. The font used in this document is not installed on your system. In order to edit the text in this document, you need to use a different font or install the specific font on your computer system." Acrobat does not give errors, it simply pastes garbage.
I've searched high and low for a font called "CNAFKO+ArialUnicodeMS" but can't find one. Can you verify that CNAFKO is "real" or is it a default string that PDF Architect puts in when it can not determine the font name.
I have a similar problem with Czech text. Acrobat shows the font as Arial while PDF Architect shows it as "VYAGVS+ArialMT"
In both cases, when viewing font properties in Acrobat, the Arial fonts are Embedded Subset, Type: Type 1 (CID), Encoding: Identity-H

Save settings for all Windows Profiles
Greetings.
We are using PDFCreator with autosave feature to a folder, which works great.
However, do to company policy, we need to have multiple profiles for every user on the desktop. Is there a way to set default autosave enabled and target location defined on every user, but not going user per user profile manually changing to achieve this?

i have a pc that has architect on and when he creates a pdf from an excel spreadsheet that contains lucinda san font that text will come out with spaces and looking very odd on the PDF.
the problem is this doesn't happen with the same spreadsheet on a different computer.
the pc has a video card in it, does architect have problems with some video cards?

PDF Architect 2 / PDF Creator - Überprüfung des Lizenzschlüssels
Unser Kunde hat eine Lizenz für 140 Benutzer erworben. Wir als IT-Dienstleister dieses Kunden haben die Software auf die Arbeitsstationen verteilt - dies hat bis auf weiteres funktioniert.
Nun haben wir plötzlich seit einigen Tagen das Problem, dass der PDF Creator nicht mehr installiert werden kann. Es erscheint die Fehlermeldung beim Überprüfen des Lizenzschlüssels, dass eine ungültige Antwort vom Lizenzserver erhalten wird. Der angegebene Lizenzschlüssel ist jedoch korrekt im Fenster angezeigt.
Wir haben bis jetzt ca. 120 Installationen durchgeführt, dies ohne jeglichen Probleme.
Woran kann dies liegen? Wo könnte der Fehler liegen?
Wir können Ihnen jederzeit den zugehörigen Lizenzschlüssel für unseren Kunden angeben, damit Sie dies überprüfen können.
